1. I want to work on a visually impaired PCs. When and how is that possible?

The ZLB currently offers a total of 3 visually impaired PCs, which are always starting on the hour. To avoid waiting times and queues, it is advisable to book the PC workstations online via the booking system before entering the library. You can do this yourself at www.reservierung.zlb.de or you can book via the service telephone on 030/90226-401.

Please plan for any waiting time in front of the building.

2. For how long and how often may I book a PC workstation?

One PC workstation can be reserved per day and per person for 115 minutes - including setting up, cleaning, leaving the workstation.

3. Do I need a library card for the booking?

Yes, a valid library card or reading room card from the Association of Public Libraries in Berlin (VÖBB) is required. The library card is not transferable.

4. Will I lose my place if I am late?

No, if you do not show up, the reservation do not expires.

5. I cannot keep my appointment. What should I do?

Please cancel your appointment so that others can book it instead.

7. Do I have to print out my booking?

No, but you should make sure that you can show it when needed, e.g. digitally.

8. Do I also have to wear a mouth-nose cover at work?

Access to our buildings is only possible with an FFP2 mask. At the pre-booked seats, this can be exchanged for a surgical mask.
